I haven't seen any news one way or another on the possibility of Kim's death or serious illness. But then there are a lot of sources I probably know nothing of. Have you or anyone else had any reliable updates?

The problem is that N Korea is probably the most secret regime on Earth.
And even if external spy agencies like China and Taiwan do know what’s going on, they may wish to keep quiet in case disclosure could make things much worse.
You would think if he wasn't dead or close to it, they would think it would better to announce it, or better yet, have him make an appearance in the news. I can see why people are speculating about it. How long do you figure they will keep mum about it, one way or another? Guess no one knows that either.

I don’t know, but I remember the fuss when Tito died. I think he died quite a bit sooner than was announced, and Yugoslavia was considerably more open than N Korea is.
