To be honest I have looked this up and it seems both strips appeared roughly the same time and I think it was a case of them both coming up with the name at the same time.
Minnie the Minx is all ours though.
As is Roger the Dodger.

It causes huge problems in the relationship if she is the one in the cult. Or if you are depends how involved she is in the cult. Most women convince their male partners onto their side. Most men fall away from faith engaging and romantic with a woman who doesnt believe. Faith is personal its objectives personal.
