Lola, you really are a special one aren't you - most people simply don't think past the moment they live in - in either direction. This site will answer your questions:

We would really love to have you on the team, and your friends too.
I must have you for dinner some evening - a side of favabeans, and a nice Chianti.
(Viz walks into cafe on a lonely Saturday night...)
Could I have a nice glass of dolcetto, Wassau? Seen anyone around here lately?
Psssst!!
Viz - my wife Patti is from Val D' Astico in N. Italy and her family makes the very best vino. They have been perfecting it for centuries and are most successful. Care to have a taste?
OH!!!
You scared me! It's been so quiet in here lately! Wassau and I have had the place to ourselves.
Certainly, I'd love to try the wine! Describe it for me...red or white, dry or fruity, etc...
I've been clicking, Danon...............Wassau, keep the food and drinks coming.............I'm headed for Albuquerque and will keep in touch over the weekend.
Lola, thank you for clicking to save Rainforest. It really means a lot to everyone. There is the Breast Cancer site also which only takes seconds to click and helps many people in unfortunate circumstances feel better. Thanks
PS: There are teams of people from all over the world clicking to save Rainforest. You have begun clicking with a team calling itself AKTBIRD57 - this team you have so recently joined has worked itself up to the number three team in the world and by my estimation by the end of this month will be the number two team - currently gaining on the number ONE team for most rainforest saved. We are very excited and it's a really warm and fuzzy good feeling to have actually done something constructive for the world.
My dear Viz,
The wine of choice in N Italy is red - but not full bodied, it's very light with a hint of the fruit, not sweet - but not very dry, it is the nectar of the gods. Multi Bene !!! <<exagerated wave of the arms>>
Here, have a taste of the old country.
What do you think?
It's perfect! A lot of reds are too heavy for me, and I prefer to taste a little of the fruit, too. Mmmmm.....
Look...Wassau has brought us some crostini to enjoy with the wine.
(Let's NOT pass the bottle around, okay? I don't feel like sharing this...it's such a treat.)
I'm Danon's wife passing thru the room and was somehow drawn to NOT sharing the wine.....I make an excellent bruchetta (if I say so myself and I often do) so please share with me.....Also - my Italian cousins like to have biscotti with this wine - in fact they have EVERYTHING with this wine - no preservatives so it has to be drunk rather quickly...not a bad idea.
Thanks dear,' danon said, 'So, Viz, you see we have no shortage of this variety of wine.
How very generous you are! Perhaps we could take some to Lola's? I'm sure that she would love to try it as soon as she returns.
How do you make your bruschetta? I just love it...a toasty crouton drizzled with olive oil, chopped Roma tomatos & garlic, perhaps a little fresh basil...is that how you do it?
(Mrs danon sez)
Yes - that is how I do the bruchetta, however I vary it with a bit of cheese (Asagio, mozzarella, whatever you have) and you can also use chopped olives, a bit of prosciutto (Italian ham) - there is no end to the varities - roasted red bell pepper chopped - but important to use a really good extra virgin olive oil.
((danon adds - a bit of Asiago cheese is my favorite. By the way next time you are in N Italy, Asiago is a really beautiful city to visit - weekends they have open market street vendors in the downtown section. Great fun!!))
Hi
Yes, a coffee, please.
Where is everyone?
Right behind you, danon!
Wassau, I'll have a mimosa if you don't mind. Woke up tense this morning, for no reason at all.
I hope Lola will be along soon...
I'm here too. Nice to see you both. I have to quickly change back into my legs and I'll be back. Feeling much better this morning. But the atmoshere over here is much better, don't you think?
nice, dys. Your well wishes and friendship are very much welcome and helpful. Peace.
The Ocean Doesn't Want me Tom Waits
The ocean doesn't want me today
But I'll be back tomorrow to play
And the stranglers will take me
Down deep in their brine
The mischievous braingels
Down into the endless blue wine
I'll open my head and let out
All of my time
I'd love to go drowning
And to stay and to stay
But the ocean doesn't want me today
I'll go in up to here
It can't possibly hurt
All they will find is my beer
And my shirt
A rip tide is raging
And the life guard is away
But the ocean doesn't want me today
The ocean doesn't want me today
Jesus Gonna be Here
Well, Jesus will be here
Be here soon
He's gonna cover us up with leaves
With a blanket from the moon
With a promise and a vow
And a lullaby for my brow
Jesus gonna be here
Be here soon
Well I'm just gonna wait here
I don't have to shout
I have no reason and
I have no doubt
I'm gonna get myself
Unfurled from this mortal coiled up world
Because Jesus gonna be here
Be here soon
I got to keep my eyes open
So I can see my Lord
I'm gonna watch the horizon
For a brand new Ford
I can hear him rolling on down the lane
I said Hollywood be thy name
Jesus gonna be
Gonna be here soon
Well I've been faithful
And I've been so good
Except for drinking
But he new that I would
I'm gonna leave this place better
Than the way I found it was
And Jesus gonna be here
Be here soon
Good, good music today.........
s'mor cohen:
One by one, the guests arrive
The guests are coming through
The open-hearted many
The broken-hearted few
And no one knows where the night is going
And no one knows why the wine is flowing
Oh love I need you
I need you
I need you
I need you
Oh . . . I need you now
And those who dance, begin to dance
Those who weep begin
And "welcome, welcome" cries a voice
"let all my guests come in."
And no one knows where the night is going ...
And all go stumbling through that house
In lonely secrecy
Saying "do reveal yourself"
Or "why has thou forsaken me? "
And no one knows where the night is going ...
All at once the torches flare
The inner door flies open
One by one they enter there
In every style of passion
And no one knows where the night is going ...
And here they take their sweet repast
While house and grounds dissolve
And one by one the guests are cast
Beyond the garden wall
And no one knows where the night is going ...
Those who dance, begin to dance
Those who weep begin
Those who earnestly are lost
Are lost and lost again
And no one knows where the night is going ...
One by the guests arrive
The guests are coming through
The broken-hearted many
The open-hearted few
And no one knows where the night is going ...
