Your disregard for facts does not mean that factual arguments are not intelligent.

@MontereyJack,
When Democrats abuse the law to harm people for merely disagreeing with them, that's a witch hunt.

@oralloy,

when trump breaks the law, pointing it out is far from a witch hunt. it's called truth.

@MontereyJack,
True. Pointing out alleged law-breaking is not a witch hunt.

But it's a witch hunt when Democrats use the law as a weapon to harm people who disagree with them.

@MontereyJack,
That is incorrect. The Democrats have waged witch hunts against Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, George W Bush, and Donald Trump, all for merely not agreeing with the Democrats.

@oralloy,
And in each case facts proved the accusers were right. Its never a "Witch hunt " when the facts and evidence are with your side. I dont know where you get that BS.

Wrong. In the case of Scooter Libby, the Democrats maliciously framed an innocent person.

In all of the other cases, while the act may well have occurred, there was nothing even remotely wrong with the act to begin with.

Wrong again. Abusing the law to harm people who disagree with you would still be a witch hunt even if it ultimately discovered real wrongdoing.

Morality and ethics are hardly BS. I get them from having had a responsible upbringing.

Youre fulla ****. Libby was on TAPE revealing Valeri Plaim's name and having a sentence "commuted" doesnt change his guilt on all counts.

I merely have ethics and morality. It leads me to have a different perspective from progressives.

I think you're lying. Do you have a cite proving the existence of the this alleged tape?

That said, discussing Plame with reporters after her name has already been revealed is NOT revealing it.

farmerman wrote:

No such guilt. The Democrats framed an innocent person for an imaginary crime.

That is the usual progressive attitude towards ethics and morality.

Again the usual progressive disregard for ethics and morality.

Well the trial in the Senate begins today. This comes, of course, on the heels of the latest failed Democrat effort to influence the outcome through the "testimony" of yet another obscure (and in this case unsavory) player in the Ukrainian game. So far Democrat efforts to extend their flimsy investigation into the trial itself appear to have only highlighted the flagrant hypocrisy of their Congressional leaders on this issue, while the sunlight has left the Democrat case looking weaker and weaker. Their almost fanatical eagerness and haste, to remove Trump from office through impeachment looks more and more deranged and desperate. Meanwhile, current discussion among Republicans appears to be focused on whether to dismiss the case out of hand, or to pursue acquittal through a review of the respective cases.

Democrats are approaching the 2020 elections with a very divided party, the left wing of which is populated with unelectable novices, liars and fanatic socialists, and a (so far) preferred presidential Candidate (Biden) who has arguably been damaged more by the Impeachment process than has President Trump. Meanwhile the economy continues to outperform previous norms, yielding very low unemployment and now rising wages for the middle class, and Trump continues to achieve incremental successes on border controls, trade issues, foreign relations and other matters.

Public awareness of the fact that Congressional democrats have wasted the last two years in a fanatical pursuit of impeachment, while failing to address or attend to important legislative issues before the country has risen. These issues range from immigration to the impending collapse of Obama's student loan programs and the rapid inflation of College tuitions it caused, to infrastructure investment and health care reform.

In all of this it is very hard to view the Democrat Leadership as anything but deranged and inept. They have for the past two years played to their own weaknesses and Trump's strengths. I suspect this will be the new focus of political analysts after the coming election.

Wrong again. My opposition to framing innocent people for imaginary crimes demonstrates very clear ethics and morality on my part.

Because it will destroy Executive privilege, a power used by presidents since the country's founding. Republicans are adhering to the Constitution and refuse to weaken the equal power of the Executive branch.
