I've went from Seasoned to Veteran; back to Seasoned (when 40 posts disappeared) then up to Veteran; and now I'm Seasoned again...damn, now I know what Vivaldi's Four Seasons are!

I like most of the existing titles, however, I think the gaps from 1,000 to 2,500 and 5,000 are too much - there should be milestone titles for 2,000 3,000 etc

1,000 posts = 1K Hobbyist
2,000 posts = A 2K Specialist
3,000 posts = 3K Stalwart
4,000 posts = 4K Aficionado
5,000 posts = 5K Maestro
6,000 posts = 6k Svengali
7,000 posts = 7K Guru

etc, etc...

It isn't a personal fashion statement - it was thrust upon me by two conspiring mins!

Unless there is something someone hasn't told me, I am still a guide.

I assume guide will reappear in my name when Craven has teased me for long enough.

Bib,
You had 40 posts in the testing forum? The only way for you to have lost 40 posts is to have been quite prolific in that auto pruning forum.

And maybe a military ranking (some actual ranks to be omitted) will be good:
Private (0-10)
Sergeant(11-50)
Sgt.-Major(50-100)
Lieutenant(100-250)
Captain(250-500)
Major(500-1,000)
Colonel(1,000-2,500)
General(2,500-5,000)
Field Marshal (>5,000)

Waaaahhhh!!!
I want Deb's former title back! Forum guide's just a little too wishy washy for Deb. Confused Queen.....Yay!!! I certainly defer to her as a senior representative in the guides. And the likelihood of anyone overtaking her as top poster any time soon is zero or less, so she should be recognised as a person of substantive input for this forum.
(And it's my prerogative to tease the bunny a little on St Paddy's Day!)

Substantial, yes - substantive?.....hmmmmmm - that could easily be argued with - and would be. By me. Heehee. Senior? No way. Not even, it seems, in age...heehee.

I think forum guide is by far the safer option, since it seems teasing hyperbole is open to misinterpretation.

How come St Paddy's Day is tease the Bunny especially day?

Just felt it might be my turn for some bunny-baiting. Heaven knows I'm much too shy to do it normally - but a little Guinness courage has pushed me... Twisted Evil

I'm a shy little fraidy cat - you never see me on any of the controversial threads! I'm too frightened of all those bullies!

As much as I'd just luvv to make fun of anyone with "cat" in their title, Twisted Evil I'm going with Bibliophile's as ze best yet!

I'm thinking the top rank should be 'Get a Life'...

But that's just mean.

Who wouldn't want to be.... a "Stalwart"???

I like Bibilophile's best, too, except for Guru. He's already taken that! What about something in Latin? Pontifex Maximus.

Bib's got some good ones.

I particularly like Svengali as the top rank above Guru. Or perhaps one of these:

Einstein
Nostrodamus
Confucious

(specifically leaving out the God-heads such as Buddha, Mohammed, Yah-weh, etc.)
