Would you allow a 'woman' to handcuff you & secure you in shackles? In order that she may do whatever she desired with you.

Mathos, thank you.

For Injecting A Sweet Black Poison at this juncture.

I'll say that if both the man and the woman aren't alternatively ready to be handcuffed and shackled by their mate, they have not reached the highest point. I might even go as far as to say I'd question the depth of their Love for one another.

Note above I don't say they must do it to Love. Not at all. But have the mindset of being willing to do it, if it might be asked.

Being in the position above, my friends, is a Trust in the one you Love, sometimes darkly. To deny the dark side is be destroyed by it (if I may borrow from Star Wars that borrowed from Shakespeare that borrowed from the Greeks that borrowed from...)

____

Mathos, the only question I have at this point--you put 'woman' in quotes above? Are you speaking of something other than broadly defined heterosexuality?

Your being your usual overcautious self EM, experiences of real figurative reality cannot be an issue if you need a dress rehearsal, both yourself and friend Spendius fall into this category. I am talking about the unknown, it is the unknown which is the creator of the desire and thirst for knowledge. There is little point being handcuffed by your spouse or partner, they are bound to ask, " Is this ok, are you alright, am I doing it too hard." Glaucous trials are no trials at all.

I might have known you would pick up on the 'woman.' I thought it only fair to give considerations to the alternatives. They have the right to search also.

Mathos??? Are you addressing me in this manner? Really, sir?
Is this a shot across my bow?

Sir,

Perhaps I have overestimated you.

I have approached you as a friend. Regardless of my friendship with Spendius, I have tried to give you, Mathos, a clean slate. Existential clean slate, as it were. I have never said or even implied a derogatory comment or thought your way.

Do not make the mistake of seeing my kindness and disciplined self-control as a form of stupidity, ignorance, or even a partial unawareness of your submerged but now emerging conceit and arrogance.

I have revealed but the tip of my iceberg on these boards.

Do not make the mistake that the Japanese made, and awaken a sleeping giant.

Fair warning sir. What you call "overcautious" we call "judicious use of power."

Believe me, you do not wish to witness the force of an nuclear strike on your petty house of intellectual cards. I assure you no dress rehearsal will be needed. I am trained and tested in the long fires of hell for your kind. You are a fly on the proverbial windscreen. Your hatred and jealousy of us makes me stronger.

Good day sir! (all said with a smile and ironic wink, of course.)

ps: would you like to shake hands and move forward in knowledge and awareness, or go deeper into the pits? Either way would be an education. Twisted Evil

The books are written for the benefit of the ignorant.

Mathos, why, if you dislike The Tropic of Capicorn, Lady Chatterly's Love and Salammbo so much do you read them?

Isn't the answer obvious when you stop and consider you are asking the question of a masochist? Twisted Evil

Perhaps you could force him to read them again. Laughing

Right. Nothing can be assumed. Maybe a skimming of the Cliff's Notes?

I mean, when you've never heard of Bob Dylan?

I mean, is Dylan a vastly more obscure name than The Beatles?

Nothing can be assumed. I am guilty of that too often.

On the subject of boring/conservative vs. hot and fun, I would only choose hot and fun. But hot and fun doesn't preclude a respect for others. If we're talking about the model type hot, I'll have to say that I've met few of those kinds of people either male or female that manages to grow up unspoiled.

I personally don't find classically beautiful men to be interesting or sexy. So hot for me would have to do with something else. I know many hot men who can be trusted. So I think the boring/conservative vs hot and entertaining dichotomy to be a false one.

If a woman feels she must chose between these types rather than look for a man that both turns her on and can be trusted, I think it would be a good idea to consider what she might be doing to find herself in this position.

Are you suggesting, CJ that a woman can't feel secure with a sexy man?

Perhaps you haven't read my postings Lola Wink

I feel secure with any man, regardless if he's boring or
sexy. Yet, I'd choose a hot, interesting man over a boring,
conservative one as I had said previously, which sparked
spendius question what I consider boring.....
the rest is history as they say.

Sexy is not necessarily beautiful. An ordinary looking man who feels comfortable with himself, has charm and charisma
is by far more sexy and interesting to me as Adonis himself.

However, what I consider sexy, doesn't necessarily comply
with the norm Wink

Spendius,

Why did you ask CJ what she considers boring? Are you making trouble again? I guess you'll just have to be punished.

What's your punishment of choice?
