extra medium, I've lived long enough to learn how to give some people alot of room and I realize that there are things that White people simply will not understand. That doesn't mean that they are bad or stupid or small-minded. It means that it is simply out of their realm of understanding. period. Maybe you're White, maybe you aren't. The 100% is a curiosity but it's neither here nor there. For a young woman to dismiss an entire race of men, her own race of men, is not healthy. Pragmatic seems to sense this and is willing to explore herself. I wish her all the luck in the world and if she ends up with a White man, hopefully it will be because that's the man she wants and not simply because of the color of his skin.

Fair enough, eoe.

Let's take your above sentence:

I've lived long enough to learn how to give some people alot of room and I realize that there are things that Black people simply will not understand.

I've lived long enough to learn how to give some people alot of room and I realize that there are things that Yellow people simply will not understand.

I've lived long enough to learn how to give some people alot of room and I realize that there are things that Hispanic people simply will not understand.

I've lived long enough to learn how to give some people alot of room and I realize that there are things that Red (Indian) people simply will not understand.

___

Who is the racist here, eoe?

I'm sorry if the above offended anyone. I think I forgot we're only supposed to say the above about white people.

I apologize and am trying to make my message more positive. Have a nice day!

Okay, it's late and I've had a few glasses of wine but I will try and make sense. Black people, Yellow people, Red people, Brown people, all people of color have always had to understand White people, COMPLETELY, in order to survive. That door does not swing both ways. Never had to. White people have always had the power. The rest of us were just squirrels trying to get a nut.

Okay.

Well actually maybe you are right eoe: There are certain things that white people will never understand.

Will you also make that statement of other ethnic groups?

Just kept smiling.

I heard the hottest men of all rise above their supposed ethnic stereotype caricatures.

I mean they take the best of what they are, and they emerge past it.

SuperMan, as it were. Could be any race.

Then they move past that.

Now thats a Hot Man, Ladies! Twisted Evil

How many times you been with SuperMan?

Don't pragmatic! You're entitled to your opinion as eoe
is. You're not a racist for non wanting to choose an Asian
husband - not for his skin color or slanted eyes - but
for his cultural differences and his beliefs you don't share.

It's as simple as that.

I value your opinion eoe, but I think you were too sensitive
to the racial issue here, as pragmatic stressed more than
once, that it is not the color of her own race she's dismissing.
She was raised in a westernized world, with westernized
standards, and therefore would want a husband who shares
her beliefs and outlook in life. period.

Right, and there are plenty of Asian men who were born and/or raised in western cultures.
