Is it possible i contracted chlamydia?

I recently found out a recent partner has chlamydia. We used protection and it did not break or slip. My question (a dumb one) is if say he had touched his penis and gotten precum on his fingers and proceeded to put on the condom without washing his hands could the bacteria have been on the outside of the condom? Again probably a dumb question but ive no idea how long anf where it can survive outside the body

Agreeing with Sturgis.

You should definitely get tested. Using a condom certainly lowers your risk, but if I had sex with someone I knew had chlamydia I would book an appointment to get tested that day. You pee in a cup, and if they find the bacteria you take antibiotics. No big deal.

The good news is that chlamydia is fully treatable with antibiotics. Get tested and get treated (if necessary).
