I may be wrong, but there is a specific reason why many of us on this thread are unsympathetic to hearing anyone say anything positive about intelligent design. Intelligent design was popularized by people who are charlatans. They have made no contribution to anyone's knowledge.

Yhere are people who are unsympathetic to hearing anything positive about Christianity also...but I doubt they would suggest that it is illogical or incorrect to claim that Christians are followers of Christ.

My comment does not say anything favorable to any of the IDers assertions. My comment is simply that IF THERE IS A GOD...(we do not know if there is a GOD or not)...but IF THERE IS A GOD...that mans that it is possible Intelligent Design occurred.

It DOES NOT MEAN that the Design was the kind of snake oil design the IDers are trying to sell...BUT I NEVER SUGGESTED THAT IT HAS TO BE.

I specifically mentioned that IF THERE WAS DESIGN...it seems to be to allow everything to happen randomly...by natural selection as Darwin has suggested.
