I have already directed your attention to Post 1748738.In that you will see that I have answered your question before you asked it.Broad brush strokes are all one can use on here.

Spendi, I have a hard time understanding much of what you write, so I was hoping you could provide a clear concise answer to just where you see the money going in all this.

(I also tried to look up your post, but couldn't find one which made any sense)

Thanks ros.How kind of you to say such nice things about my posts.

When the amount of money is exceedingly large and involves general shifts in emphasis in the flow of things and over generations it is difficult to provide precise details as to do so usually causes a rapid descent into squabbling which,of itself, may serve the purpose of certain interested parties in arranging the shifts of emphasis to suit their practicalities.

Is that any clearer?

spendi has a way with words that escapes many of us. If he talks the way he writes, I wonder how many really understand what he says. Wink

Yeh, that's the one I found. I couldn't see any part of it that answered my previous question, but that's probably because I couldn't make any sense out of it in general.

Maybe it's me Spendi, I don't know.

All I know is that the following is barely comprehensible, and even if I read a paragraph in between each line, it still doesn't come close to answering my previous question.

I presume you have heard of the separation of powers.Well-there are separations inside each of the separated powers. And so on.
But if we stick to the larger units for simplicity's sake can you imagine them as tectonic plates grinding against each other and pulling and pushing like dealers on the stock exchange when the bottom is falling out of the commodities market.

Church, judiciary, legislature,President or Throne, military, media etc etc.One can follow the ups and downs of the battles between these gigantic forces by the results and by having a feeling for the drift. If someone is squealing "FOUL" you can bet his drift is backwards or not as fast forward as he thinks it ought to be which,it hardly needs saying,is the usual case.

This is how George Soros divined the pound being overvalued and was rewarded for his efforts which must have been something to see even though we didn't see them.

One sometimes gets the impression at this distance from your movies and your news that the legal profession is astride your nation like a stallion across a fresh filly.I'm not saying that is true.It is an impression but it is certainly moving in the right direction seen from its own point of view.

The world is much more than the view through one's front window.

Who the hell taught you to write, Norm Crosby?

Perhaps more likely the late "Professor" Edwin Corey, a comedian of whom the NYT in its obituary for the self-professed "Expert on everything" wrote " (Corey's style was) ... a series of bad jokes and mangled syntax which left some people roaring and others perplexed."

And which group were you in timber?I love it when I'm a roaring and everybody else is perplexed though I'll admit it can be embarrassing at times.
Rider Haggard is one of my favourite funny men.
They use canned laughter to help the perplexed know when to laugh or sometimes a wink or a knowing aside to camera if it's on Lady TV.

So, let's follow this, just for fun... Smile

Spendi says,

Separation of Powers leads to...
Separations inside separations leads to...
Larger units for simplicity leads to...
Plate tectonics leads to...
Dealers on the stock exchange leads to...
Bottom falling out of commodities market leads to...

(Spendin created another paragraph at this point, presumably to make it all easier to read... thanks Spendi)

Church, Judiciary, Legislature, President, Throne, Military, Media, etc leads to...
Battles between titanic forces leads to...
"Feeling for the drift" leads to...
Squealing "FOUL" leads to...
drift is backwards or not as fast forward leads to...
hardly needs saying leads to...

(Another paragraph break, thank god)

George Soros divined leads to...
the pound being overhauled leads to...
something to see, even though we didn't see them.

(another gratuitious paragraph)

Getting an impression from a distance leads to...
movies and news and legal profession is astride (insert sexual inuendo of your choice) leads to...
I'm not saying it's true leads to...
It is an impression leads to...
something certainly moving in the right direction as seen from its own point of view.

(and finally we're left with this... )

The world is much more than the view through one's front window.

(Duh)

(You're not even human are you Spendi. You're one of those computer programs which string together meaningless words with some vague connection to other words from the INPUT. Aren't you.)
