Two women charged Joe Biden of "inappropriate contact," while over 20 women charged Trump with "sexual assault." Trump enjoys over 80% approval rating from republicans. What's wrong with this picture?

If it was OK for Bill Clinton then it's also OK for Trump.

Besides, who knows if the charges against Trump are even true.

Obviously wrong - but unfortunately this has been going on in politics probably forever - it is just this is more in the forefront and these "men" are now being outted. Yeah Clinton was huge -- a young intern taking advantage of her. JFK you can read about all the goings on with the Kennedys at all levels.

I don't think is is bonkers now - I think it has been bonkers for years - I am sure there are others going way back - I think now for the better - women are speaking up and not letting these men in power get away with being boys as boys.

@Linkat,
Yes, it's been going on forever, and it goes beyond politics. Some of us like to expect that our politicians are leaders of morals and ethics.

"Leaders of morals and ethics"
Nelson Mandela had women troubles...
King David had women troubles!
No matter how strong were the morals, it seems to happen.

@mystikmind,
Different cultures have different values concerning sexual relationships. Whose to say our morals are better? Most recently, the Latter Day Saints were able to have more than one wife. Many cultures allowed brothers to marry sisters and other kin. https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2016/09/these-are-the-countries-where-child-marriage-is-legal/

Crazy people have taken over both parties. MeToo'ing Joe Biden is ridiculous... but the extreme left has called for his head.

I think it is far worse than usual.

You may not like Joe Biden, I get it. It is just hard to believe that anyone who takes #MeToo seriously would accept its use as a political dirty trick.

Joe Biden? come on... this is the reason that many people don't take feminism seriously.

@mystikmind,
Our subject was "morals and ethics." What I was trying to show was that morals and ethics differ not only within our country, but from country to country. Some states in our country allow young teens to marry, while others require them to be at least 18 or 19 years old. The Uniform Marriage and Divorce Act, which was drafted in 1970 and adopted by most states in some form, established the following provisions (which are mostly followed today):
Set presumptive age of marital consent at 18;
Allow 16- and 17-year-old to get married with parental consent; and
Allow those younger than 16 to get married with parental consent and a court order Marriage laws in other countries: Different ages for boys and girls

In about one fifth of countries (38), there are different minimum ages for men and women, and almost always the girl is younger.

For example, in Bangladesh, women must be 18 and men must be 21 to marry.

In Sudan, girls can marry at 10 and boys can marry at 15 or at puberty.

Sometimes the marriage age depends on religious affiliation. In the Philippines, Muslim boys can marry at 15 and Muslim girls can marry at puberty.

In Tanzania, Muslim and Hindu girls can marry at 12 as long as the marriage is not consummated until the girl reaches the age of 15.
Opinion: Morals is established by the country which sets the laws regarding marriage.

The political leaders are the ones who establishes the laws of the country in which they live. What you may deem as unethical for those countries that allow early teen marriage is totally ethical to them.

Did you read about Stephanie Carter? A picture of her and Joe Biden went viral among outrage feminists painting Stephanie Carter as a victim. He touched her shoulders.

She is now upset at the feminists for using a gesture she appreciated as a political attack against her friend.

If you truly believe that something is important, you don't use it as part of political dirty tricks.

I'm not sure where all of this "sexual assault" thing is going, but we've lost much more than most people think about affection. Pretty soon, people will question brothers hugging their sisters.

Actually, I suspect that Bill Clinton was a rapist. I have been pretty consistent on this point. Bill Clinton allegedly forced an aide to have sex with him in a hotel room.

That is quite a bit different than putting your hands on a friends shoulders or kissing a woman affectionately in the back of her hair.
