Feel free to correct me if I got a word are two wrong:

..."When I'm good, I'm good, but when I'm bad, I'm real Good"- The great, and brilliant Mae West.....

....I think this woman may be under-appreciated, as far as her intellwct is concern. Writing her own material, she created a risque personna, using double entendres, and dressed in what would be G rated apparrel today.

I used to live just above the Chateau Marmont in the Hollywood Hills and you could see directly down into the corner rear window of her apartment. However, she never drew the curtains aside. It was fun during parties to push people in front of the telescope and tell them they could see through those curtains and that she really is a man!

LW,
.....I was trying to guess what your position was at the gallery. My first guess was procurement. Then I thought about your background, and moniker. I'm thinking display, and interior design. I put all this in my e-mail by the way.

.....Can anyone name a movie that ended on a line, as the title of this thread did, and had even more impact on the movie.... I'm going beddie-bye soon, and I'll return with the answer this afternoon.

Booman, the actual quote was:

"When I'm good, I'm very good....but when I'm bad, ....I'm better"

And yes, she was brilliant and very quotable.

But I hope you get back soon with the answer to that question you posted above. I've been wracking my brains trying to think of a film that ended on a "famous" line.

I believe it's been posted but possibly the most famous last line in a film is:

"Well, nobody's perfect."

.....I apologize about the delay, I went to bed thinking my clue would be so ridiculasly easy. Perhaps the movie wasn't seen by too many people.
.....The movie was "The Taking of Pelham 1..2..3.." A subway train was being held hostage by a gang while the leader* was negotiating over the phone with a detective over the phone, played by Walter Mathau. All through the film the leader was sneezing and WM would say "Bless You", every time. Somehow after the ransome money was in the hands of the leader, Mathau had tracked it too the apartment, but he wasn't sure. after talking with the guy he still wasn't sure, so he went out the door and it seemed to be a perfect crime. As the door closed, he sneezed, WM said, "Bless you Shocked ",then he turned, and stuck his head in the door with a gotcha' look....freeze frame...roll the credits...

*I think E.G. Marshall, I'm not sure.

That was Joe E. Brown to Jack Lemmon in "Some Like It Hot" after Jack removes his drag wig and declares, "But you don't understand, Osgood, I'm a man."
