Wasn't it "Adrian!"?

Sure that wasn't suppose to be Marlon Brando in "A Streetcar Names Desire?"

Confused That's what I mean. "Stella!" was from "A Streetcar Named Desire". "Adrian!" was from "Rocky".

In"Bodyguard", there was a seen where Kevin Cosner silently beats up this goon, and says, "I glad we had this little talk"

"I'll be your huckleberry" Val Kilmers, Doc Holiday in "Tombstone

"Tombstone" has some very evocative, wry lines for a relative sleeper of a movie, i.e.:

"But then again, you may be the Antichrist", Doc Holliday to Big Nose Kate.

"You're no daisy. You're no daisy at all!...Poor soul. The strain was just more than he could bear." Doc Holliday to Johnny Ringo after Ringo lost their duel.

"I don't think I'll let you arrest me today, Behan." Wyatt Earp to Sheriff Behan after the gunfight at the OK Corral.

"There's no such thing as a normal life. There's just life." Doc Holliday on his deathbed to Wyatt Earp.

"I already got the guilty conscience. I must as well have the money." Wyatt Earp to the government official who wanted to recruit him back to being a law officer.

And many, many more. One of my favorite movies of all time. Incidentally, the director, George Cosmatos, who also directed the less witty 2nd Rambo movie, recently passed away.

"Tombstone" was out at approximately the same time as the more heavily pushed "Wyatt Earp". I liked thelatter, but l loved the former.

Allan, that line, "I don't think I'll let you arrest me today," is supposedly historically authentic. What Earp is reputed to have said is, "I don't think I'll let you arrest me today, Johnny [not Behan]. Maybe I'll let you arrest me tomorrow." He was quoted that way by eyewitnesses to the OK Corral fracas.

there are plenty of great lines from All About Eve...
George Sanders---"you're too short for that gesture"

and plenty from "The Women"

Joan Crawford---"they have a name for women like you, but it's usually reserved for females on the end of a leash" or something like that...hehehe..

Lines from "Animal House" were mentioned but I didn't see my favorite: "Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son!" (Dean Wormer)

Thinking of Joan Crawford and Bette Davis,

Blanche: You wouldn't be able to do these awful things to me if I weren't still in this chair.

Jane: But cha AAH, Blanche, ya AAH in that chair.

A quote attributed to Jack Nicholson: "My mother never understood the irony when she called me a son of a bitch." (I don't know if that is from a Nicholson movie or whether he said that in real life.)

The funniest script ever written and I think it was, Oh, Moses, Moses, Moses...etc.

I'd like to see that old woman dig a grave with her tongue! Laughing

All thet blood mingling could cause the spread of disease!

The day will come when men will be treated like bad actors, not like stars.

Edward G. Robinson and Vincent Price looked like they were dressed up for a costume ball and their lines were delivered with an awkward sliminess that was completely laughable.

In "The Verdict" James Mason's character told a story about losing a case when he was a young lawyer. The head of the law firm called him into his office and asked what happened. He told his boss, "I did my best." The boss replied: "You are not supposed to do your best. You are supposed to win."
