Our Tim Horton, of course.
He's actually ours. Or so Natalie McMaster would have you think.
Okay, okay. You can keep him. (But I'm not giving Buffie St. Marie back. Or Peter Jennings, come to that.)
You can keep Peter Jennings.
Buffy is too independent to listen to either of us.

If this question ought to read: "Who is Tim Horton?"--then the answer is that Tim Horton was a hockey player who used his NHL salary to bankroll a chain of doughnut stores in Canada. And as i've already observed, selling doughnuts to Canajuns is a commercial enterprise akin to printing your own money. The Tim Horton's franchises have been wildly successful all over Canada, and have enjoyed the same success since coming to the United States.
......and speaking of Tim Horton's..............
Down-on-her luck Hamilton woman lucks into $1,000 prize at coffee shop

HAMILTON (CP) - A down-on-her-luck Hamilton woman has learned how quickly fortunes can change.
Seeking some cash, she tried to sell her CD collection at a used record shop Sunday but was rebuffed, and became so upset she started yelling and crying. That drew the attention of police, who, along with a psychiatric nurse, took the distraught woman to a Tim Hortons to discuss her options.
The 30-year-old woman rolled up the rim of her coffee cup and won a doughnut.
Const. Gary David told her that since she was on a roll, she might as well roll up the rim on his cup.
She did and won a $1,000 cash prize.
The woman offered to split the prize, but David and the nurse declined, saying it "made their day" to see her win.
Ahhh, I just looove heart-warming stories like that, Reyn.
I love the idea of a cop and a psych nurse taking the woman to a donut shop. In the US, that poor gal would've been locked up (or worse) long before...

Did you know that the #1 and #2 stores in the Tim Horton's chain are in Hamilton? The first store has been renovated and is still on Ottawa Street. The #2 store has been closed and a new store opened with a drive-through several blocks away. Of course, the biggest number of Tim Horton's stores per capita are in Hamilton. Many winners of the rollup in that city.
