I've seen that book...funny stuff...people crack me up...

The Israelites by Desmond Dekker is a classic song for misinterpretation.

One line sounds like "why find my kids , they f***ed up and-a leave me."

and the chorus sounds like "oh, oh, me ears are alight."

And if you think "Israelites" is hard to understand, just try listening to "Ram Goat Liver" (possibly the finest Reggae song ever made) by Pluto Shervington.

"It's a Family of Bears" by Sly and the Family Stone.

And who could forget KISS singing "I want to rock and roll all night, and prolly everday".

Have you guys ever heard the Pearl Jam song Yellow Ledbetter? If you can tell more than five words of what he is saying i will be extremely impressed.

There was a commercial with this man sitting in this SUV waiting to leave a parking garage. His girlfriend sat next to him and was staring at him. The commercial opens with her horrified face looking right at the driver and a few bars of the song playing in the back ground.
The camera pans to this man, sitting with one hand drumming on the steering wheel while the other hand is drumming on his leg and he is singing along to the song " Pour Some Shook up Ramen, When you need a cup...."
He looks at his girlfriend and her face hasnt changed.. He says " You know.. RAMEN... the SOUP?!"
Then the commercial cuts to this old woman standing next to thier suv, they have pulled over to the side, and she is reading him the words
" Pour some sugar on me, In the name of love, Pour some sugar on me ohhh you fire me up . Im hot sticky sweet, from my head to my feet"
