When a guy asks this question...

If a guy asks the following question, what is he really saying? “ Do you have a little Irish in ya? If not… ya know..”

What reasons might he have for asking this question?

Irish are known for a quick firey temper. so this expression is an inquiry of your temperament

Nope. If it a standard stupid pick-up line. A cliche, particularly on St. Patrick's Day.

Man: do you have a little Irish in you?
Woman: well no....
Man: Would you like to?

It is literally a solitication for sex. (If I told you you had a beautiful body ... )

@bunnyhabit ,
No, he’s right bunny

It’s a cheesy pickup line but as max said it is exactly how it’s been told to countless eye rolling women.

I remember the first time it was used on me, and it didn’t get any better over the years.

I felt foolish the first time because I had fair skin and freckles. I thought the guy was actually asking a serious question and I basically replied not all people with freckles are Irish. Then he gave me a leer and asked if I wanted to (have a little Irish in me)

What an asshat, along with all other men that think that’s clever.

@y0ungshel,
Just tell him "your Irish is not enough to be worth it" because all he wants to put in you is his Irish willy.
