Not As Important As Terri Schiavo But....

I saw this and remembered that once we were in a war in the mid east and that apparently they claim it was about Weapons of Mass Destruction or something. I thought it was about freeing Iraq and spreading democracy. Was there something about Weapons involved in this? And why do they keep talking about when I'm trying to decide if Michael Schiavo is a good guy or a bad guy? Where's the priorities in this?

No....wow. I've heard rumours about medicaid legislation and the falling dollar, and I sort of noticed that gas is through the roof and they're saying it's going to get worse, but that petty stuff is such a distraction.

I guess now with the passing of Terri ( I notice we all call her Terri, because we all know her so well heh heh), God give her peace, we can move on to other pressing issues. Do you think Michael Jackson buggered those kids?

I read it bvt. I am not even close to being surprised by it. I guess that's kind of sad.

I wonder if this is the thread that odd little girl is on about.

I've been asking myself the same question you are, Ed. Gotta wonder why this isn't front and centre in the news. Well, I don't wonder, but I wonder. Or perhaps I marvel.

Sorry, I thought it was about a woman being starved to death with the state's complicity. Why would anyone get upset about that? Excuse me while I go and look up the word sociopath.

Brandon, don't you have a prayer meeting or something you're supposed to be attending?

Well, not really, I'm an atheist, but I note in passing your prejudice against religion. If I were religious and did have a prayer meeting to go to, it would certainly not be a demerit against me.

Actually, I was commenting on the utter lack of empathy demonstrated by the post regarding this person's death, but I see that you find the whole topic humorous.

If you have an argument, make it, unless you lack the guts. I have noticed that you spend a great deal of time hinting at arguments that you never actually have the courage to make.

"Humorous" is not the right word here, Brandon. "Bizarre" might fit. "Outrageous", perhaps. But we've gone through all that on the other threads.

Maybe it's lack of courage, maybe I'm just bored.
