Is there a web site where one can search a given person's name to find out if he or she has been arrested or convicted or been in the press in some negative way?

NOT THAT I KNOW OF. WHY DO YOU WANT TO FIND OUT SOMETHING LIKE THAT?
So I know who I'm dealing with - a prince or a skunk. Help me make decisions with my eyes wide open.
You could Google him and see if the results give you clues.
It really just depends on if your state is open-record or not.
For instance, Oklahoma is - and so to find dirt on someone, all you have to do is search for 'Oklahoma Dockets' - and you're all set.
