So -- so -- has the Suns' trainer never heard of butterfly bandages? Damn. I'm watching him try to stick band-aids on that big bleeding schnoz and waiting for someone from the Phoenix front office to come down and fire him on the spot.

And how many layups can Amare Stoudemire miss?

And how can Tim Duncan pull down 8 offensive boards when the Spurs aren't sending anyone else on the board? For the love of God, when all the other team is doing is getting a shot and then getting back on defense, you've got to be able to secure a damn rebound.

Damn.

Well, let's hope Phoenix makes the necessary adjustments to beat these bastards tonight.

I'm so on the Golden State/Baron Davis bandwagon. The Baron Davis dunk to put the exclamation point on that beating last night was one of the nastiest dunks I've ever seen.

Well, I guess I'm talking to myself now. No biggie. Anyway, I think Barkley is right about the suspensions in this Phoenix/San Antonio series. That rule is one of those zero-tolerance policies, and like most zero-tolerance policies, it ends up taking away any ability to judge each situation on it's own merits. In this case, the team whose player caused the whole situation in the first place ends up getting rewarded because of it.

****, maybe Barbosa should cuff Bruce Bowen in the face tonight. With the rules the way they are, who knows? If he does it blatantly enough right in front of the Spurs bench, they might be able to take these next two games!

Right now its Suns 22-11 over San Antonio. This game 5 start is a good example of how important emotion and mindset are in basketball. The Suns are playing like they've gotta have it...

Okay, I'm officially uninterested. Unless the Cavs get in there. That might be interesting. I can't stand Utah or the Spurs. Even Detroit I can live with, but the Spurs? No thanks. They sicken me.

The Pistons ain't gonna stand a chance against the Spurs if they play the kind of lazy ball they did in their first game against Cleveland.

Not as horrified as they would be at the prospect of a Cleveland-Utah final...

True, but Spurs-Pistons can be marketed as the battle of past champions. Utah-Cleveland is a battle of two small-market teams who've never won bupkus.
