Here's my keys to the series

If Shaq gets in foul trouble trying to keep Dirk from going inside...curtains

Dallas will have Harris and Terry on Wade...if they have to bring Stackhouse over to help out....bad news

My thinking about the outcome all centers on stopping D. Wade, and stopping Nowitski (the guy with the sweetest jump shot I've seen in years). If Wade's allowed to waltz into the lane with impunity and make layups, it'll be tough for the Mavs to win. If Nowitski isn't challenged when he tries to impose himself from 15' and closer, the Heat is in trouble.

I think it's gonna be a good daggone series, either way you look at it.

I don't know what to think about this series. They haven't played each other very much, which makes it tough to judge. I just hope it doesn't suck.

Ahem. Mintues before tip-off, I'd like to, officially, change sides.

I am now rooting for the Mavericks, in spite of Mark "Superdork" Cuban.

Sorry, I just hate Shaq way too much.

Earlier this week on ESPN, he said to that cool muthafucka who hosts "Quite Frankly": "If you don't like Shaq, there's something wrong with you."

Note above post which I voiced disdain for Shaq's frequent references to self in third person.

Is this my only petty reason for rooting against him? Yeah. I mean, this series would bore me to death if I didn't find a way to make it personal. Plus, Shaq has often said that if he wins another championship, he would have to be reckoned as one of the top three centers of all time. Sorry, but I don't think he belongs in the same league as Russell or Kareem, both whom faced more formidable opponents than Shaq, with the exception of Tim Duncan.

Can't nobody fukk with Bill Russell.

The end.

P.S. I like Avery Johnson. He's rad.

I haven't respected Shaq since the year the Rockets played against him in the finals. He came out winging his elbows hard enough to kill a man.

That's how he carries himself elsewhere, too. All that "likeable guy" BS is strictly to feed the PR coffer.

I can't stand the guy either. I once sat behind him on an airplane. Wow is he big. ****. He's a tree trunk with sneakers. I spit on him as I walked by on the way out. Ha, not really.

Well...they contained Dirk...but that little Gator Jason Williams was no match for Terry. I think Pat Riley wasn't in the game...no adjustments after the first quarter.

Hey Kick...I got an e mail that made me laugh...

A very unattractive, mean actin' woman walks into Walmart with her two kids.

The Walmart Greeter, asks "Are they twins"?

The ugly woman says "No, the oldest one, he's 9 and the younger one, she's 7.

"Why?........ Do you think they really look alike?"

"No", replies the greeter, "I just couldn't believe you got laid twice!"

i don't despise shaq, but what's with that pitiful foul shooting?

he missed 9, and they lost by 10.
that's unacceptable!

is he so muscle-bound that he has no touch left?
there are plenty of big men who still have enough finesse to make a free throw (karl malone & charles oakley come to mind)...

Heeheehee. I'm going to a party tonight with a bunch of pretty tightly-wrapped people. Telling that joke should make for a good awkward moment of silence. Thanks, man!

good pernt...

ugly stat line last night for the Big Fella:
2-5 FG
1-7 FT
5 PTS

is that the same team that overpowered detroit?

next 3 are in miami.
if the heat can't win 2 outta 3, riley should fire himself!

we all know that Dallas is going to win the playoffs but lakers would have won if they didnt lose to Phoenix. but that was Phil Jackson's fault.

Lakers would have won? How you figure that? They are a team with a one-person-deep bench - Kobe Bryant. they're going to need a hell of a lot more than that to advance in the West.
