I habe a friend that i have known for 7 years now. Beginning of this year i noticed that its just not the same between us anymore. I thought that it was just my imagination. Shortly after my boyfriend of 4 years left me, i naturally turned to her for guidance and help, afterall last year when she was cheated on with her boyfriend i was there for her all day and all night everyday for 3 whole months. The first month after the breakup she told me she wants to put our friendship on freeze because she cant hear about my problems anymore and doesnt know how it should continue. So i left her alone for a week. Which made her furious because i didnt come chasing after her.
We started talking more after that and we are friends again. But yet everytime i tell her about my life it just seems like it annoys her more than anything. When i tell her something good and wonderful her answer is "thats good" short and dry when i tell her something that has me thinking and i need a friends point of view she also keeps it short but she also seems annoyed and she always makes sure its neutral.
Am i just being paranoid or does this not seem like a friendship anymore?

So basically she wants to dump on you and have you help her out, but she doesn’t want to hear about anything to do with you. It also sounds like she is more needy than you. You were able to cut ties for a week but yet she came chasing after you probably because she wanted to dump more on you.
This does not seem like a friendship.
