I never watched the show — but he's not in law enforcement, he's a reporter, and he relied on volunteers, right? From what I read, they frequented chat rooms and posed as minors. But did they initiate relationships with adults or did they wait until the person on the other side of their monitor reached out to them? Entrapment is kind of smarmy, if you ask me.
In any case, I think that's very unlike the situation we have on blahblahmeow's thread.
