We can conclude it, because we are now still surviving on earth while many species of life have disappeared.

We have only evolved in intelligence not in physical capabilities. The species die because of human intervention and also because of our technological advances.

You mean human intervention was responsible for the dinosaurs?

According to the bible, god was responsible for "cleansing" this world of life except for those on that boat Noah built.

Possibly, they were a threat, is it possible we killed them to survive?

I would like to apologize to Setanta. I didn't understand the full idea of your quote and who it was directed at I guess.

No sweat, Boss, it gets hot and heavy here, especially in religious threads . . .

But I'm an old man, so don't choke too hard. Otherwise, only you will survive.

I'll repost this to get back on track:

Then have scientists actually witnessed smaller organisms changing from mutations? Or even in something with such a short life as a fly?

Darwinism questioned. I like this link for the questions it raises and the answers it provides. I've been an "evolutionist" for most of my adult life, but this article has questioned my beliefs. Back to the drawing board for me.

thunder, What makes you think it's "evil?" Science is not evil, and I'm not about to toss science out the window, although it's okay to question some of it's findings and conclusions. That's what science is all about; always question what seems evident today.

(god to c.i.)
God: Cicerone, I am your father.
C.I.: NO!!!!!! That's not possible.
God: Search your feelings. You KNOW it to be true. Come through me it is the only way(to heaven).

This is my alternate ending to The Empire Strikes Back.
