MA, Glad you're enjoying this discussion. Please explain to us what you mean by "taken into account?" I'll hold my breath - for two seconds.

brahmin,

Perhaps it's the use of adjectives describing my beliefs that I object to, as in saying ...my level of absurdity? tautologies....who wouldn't?

lol!!
of-putting = disgusting sort of.

Duh? use your Spell Check is what I mean and you know it.

so you are as yet unsure what is it that you object to - whether its my objection to your beliefs, OR my objection to your belief that those beliefs are facts OR my use of adjectives.

well make up your mind and let me know. not that i have time for more beating around the bush (pun intended, as well as INTENDED)

THE defination of tautology and its explaination by Pauligirl was obviously a bit much for you to ingest. i am not as well as NOT surprised.

the level of absurdity in your posts is for all to see and many apart from me have pointed it out. so the "who wouldnt" biut was not too incorrect.

you not only come up with logically absurd reasoning, but you also fail to realise that you do.

and next time when you dont know the meaning of a word use webster instead of spellcheck.

there is no such thing as an "unborn foetus" - thats like a assinine ass - asses by defination are assinine and so are foetuses by definations unborn.

not just to me, but to science too - as long as its not born its only a foetus - once its born its a baby.

ma, if you dont mind how far did you study and was science/math/logic part of of your subjects?? is that where you picked up that using caps makes your arguements more logical?? did you answer you math paper in caps?? wouldnt be surprised to learn that YOU DID.

So, let's see. It's not a child until it's born. So, two seconds before it's born, what is it?

It is not meant to make my arguments more logical. It is meant for emphasis. AND WOULD YOU PLEASE USE THAT SPELL CHECK? If you are going to attack my grammar, English, etc., at least clean up your own backyard first!

Asinine, not assinine. Asinine and ass both stem from a Latin root.

abortions do not take place 2 seconds before delivery.

there is a point of no return in pregnancy beyond which an abortion becomes risky for the mother.

so there is a time bandwidth between when it can still be aborted and when its born.

2 seconds before its born its still a foetus, but aborting isnt an alternative anymore.

and spelling mistakes are easy to go across - whole sentences that have no meaning - not in english anyway - are a lot more difficult to decipher.

Ahhh...so you are asking what a fetus is just before it is born.
I can help you with that, MA.

It is a fetus!

After it is born...it is a child. But only after it is born.

Yeah. More of the ongoing and rancorous silliness of this ancient thread, if my skim of recent pages is accurate.

You know, I keep sitting here and hoping just maybe you will stop using words that demean my beliefs. But, I can see that you will not stop doing it.

You obviously seem to think you are a very intelligent individual. You tell me I don't know the difference between this and that (figuratively). You make it sound as though you think I am the village idiot or something. Well, I have taken it from you long enough. I have tried and tried to be nice and not meet your demeaning words with more demeaning words. But, you know what? I only have so many cheeks to turn.

So, I happen to think you are acting like a pompous jerk who doesn't even have the decency to use the quote function or spell check function in their posts. You have been told by a couple now about using the quote function and I have asked you to use the spell check. Your obvious lack of doing so makes me believe you think you are better than the rest of us and don't have to do it.

I believe what I believe and you believe what you believe. I don't call your wanting scientific proof absurdity. It's what you believe and it's obviously important to you and it is your right. I had enough respect for you as a human being to not put negative connotations to your thoughts on evolution. You have not shown me the same respect.

"Read it all to get the whole story" of lies, contradictions, miracles, omissions, vendictiveness, murder, homophobia, approval of slavery, and misinterpretations by those that spend their lives studying this comic book. No thank you! I have better things to waste my time on.

I'll repeat my question to you:

Please explain to us what you mean by "taken into account?" I'll hold my breath - for two seconds.

If you do not answer, we will know why - you can't.

---------->
i give up. you doint understand english.
also you dont know how to take a flooring sportingly.
i do NOT repeat NOT demean your beliefs.

You obviously seem to think you are a very intelligent individual.
------------>
compared to miss tautology??? yeah anyday !!

You tell me I don't know the difference between this and that (figuratively).
-------------->
yes i do. from, your own posts its clear you do not.

You make it sound as though you think I am the village idiot or something.
------------------>
i did not say you are a village idiot, though you are free to assume that i did. you are also free to continue to try to put words in my mouth.

Well, I have taken it from you long enough. I have tried and tried to be nice and not meet your demeaning words with more demeaning words. But, you know what? I only have so many cheeks to turn.
----------------->
yes 4, if you are like the rest of us.
only that i wasnt demeaning.... just pointed out the absurdity of your logic and the futility of using caps to drive home a point.

So, I happen to think you are acting like a pompous jerk who doesn't even have the decency to use the quote function or spell check function in their posts.
-------------->
i am under no obligation to use spell check or quotes. and not using them doesnt make anyone a jerk.

You have been told by a couple now about using the quote function and I have asked you to use the spell check.
------------------>
yes. so? i have to do it??

Your obvious lack of doing so makes me [q]believe[/q] you think you are better than the rest of us and don't have to do it.
------------------>>
nope. again u assume. i do something if i find it convenient. else not. period.

I believe what I believe and you believe what you believe.
------------------>
thats fine with me.

I don't call your wanting scientific proof absurdity.
------------------>
wise decision. asking for scientic proof is nothing absurd.

It's what you believe and it's obviously important to you and it is your right.
-------------------->
yes its what i believe - i believe in scientific proofs.
you dont.

I had enough respect for you as a human being to not put negative connotations to your thoughts on evolution.
---------------->
well they are darwin;s not mine.
but would love to see you try to put -ve connotations to them.

You have not shown me the same respect.
--------------------->
i have shown you lots of respect.
its your logic, or the lack of it - that i fail to respect.

so tell me what were your subjects at school ?

It is not that hard to master.
SpellCheck would also be a plus, as would proper punctuation and capitalization. It appears that the level of personal umbrage has trumped brain function in a few of our members.

Present company excepted.
