@Real Music,
6. Edgarblythe is on the exact same political line as Lash right now, and for quite some time.

That's unfortunate. He lives in Texas too.

@maporsche,
I know it is depressing. Hopefully, not too many "progressives" put their own pet peeves ahead of what is really important. In the 2016, they said even if Trump won, how bad could he be? (or words to that effect.) Well, we now have a Justice Roberts right wing conservative Supreme Court for one thing. And they knew it at the time.

I like him too but it is hard to get over that.

@bobsal u1553115,
In a country that is billed as the standard-bearer of democracy in the world — that has accused Russia of vote-meddling, but has in fact been caught guilty of vote suppression and outright domestic voter fraud by its own political parties—is not a distraction, but the reason many people are currently in the streets, and why we may continue to use civil disobedience to agitate for the defunding or disbanding of these useless corporate-sponsored parties — and develop people-centric political organizations and safe voting methods.

Our government is corrupt.
Ours is a failed state.
You’re either complicit or trying to right the wrongs.

@bobsal u1553115,
Chill out, and take it up with Frank, he’s the one who brought 2016 up. I’m the one trying to move forward here...

The key point about the past is to learn from it. You should try it sometime.

@revelette1,
Yep, hell Justice Roberts is now considered the "center" of the court. How effed are we moving forward???

The really bad thing, is that even if by some miracle a M4A bill came across Biden's desk and it was a version of M4A that he would sign, the conservative SCOTUS has enough votes to likely make it unconstitutional. This will happen with many left leaning pieces of legislation for the next 30 years. We will be able to trace many wrongs back to 2016.

That will be the legacy of those who didn't vote against Trump in 2016 (and hopefully not 2020).

I know I truly find it amazing they either don't get it or think it isn't important. Not only that but McConnell has passed a lot of other right wing judges across the land that we older ones have got to live with for our lifetime.

Biden has promised to veto it —even if the people get it to a Biden/POTUS desk.

2016 is over, but the long term repercussions will be around a long time. Not only that but they plan to repeat it.

The DNC has repeated it.
Sabotage and cheat the popular candidate.
Force a hated neoliberal on the Ds; **** the progressives.
Expect the progressives to vote for the neoliberal.

@Lash,
Well, the way it is described right now, I am glad he is going to veto it and get back to drawing board and come up with some real universal health care plans where the math makes sense and is sufficient to pay for everyone's health care. We don't have to take up Bernie's plan, it can be rethought with more congressmen and women working on it.

@Lash,
He promised to veto a version that would eliminate private insurance.

There are 800 different flavors of M4A that he would sign....but you know that already. You're being dishonest on purpose.

1. I disagree with your assertion.

2. I suspect Lash has always been (PRETENDING) to be a Bernie Sanders, Medicare-for-all, progressive.
I suspect that Lash isn't really any of those things, just pretending to be those things in order to sow division in the democratic party.

3. I don't believe that Edgarblythe share Lash agenda of getting Trump re-elected.

4. Also, I believe Edgarblythe truly is a Bernie Sanders, Medicare-for-all, and progressive.

5. I believe that Edgarblythe is genuine and I cannot same the same about Lash.

I think he meant that Edgar is voting 3rd party.

That 's what I took his comment to mean anyway.

He is a fair-weather Bernite, just like Lash. In the most important election in their lifetime, when US democracy is under attack, when Bernie is voting for Biden and campaigning for him, they abandon him, drop him like a used sock, avoid him like a leper...

He did this during PRIDE month.

NEVER let anyone tell you these two candidates would govern the same.
