Well, that’s expansive of you, but if enough people decide to sit home and pout their way through Election Day rather than support the nominee, I could dang sure find fault in helping the disgusting bloat have 4 more years to rain shite.

@snood,
Sorry to give wrong idea. That wasn't his plan. He said he could not vote for Sanders if he was the nominee but that he would continue as an activist to the end of getting dems elected in down ballot races. Thus it would be a consequence of one vote for the presidency but, hopefully, many more beneath.

As I said, he was not swayed even though I tried very hard. And I do find no (or little, I suppose) fault if anyone were to take that stance given continued activism. I've known the fellow for a long time. He's a good guy. I wasn't going to go to war with him as I don't want the good guys fighting each other.

@coldjoint,
Trump certainly isn't. Another reason to vote him out. He hates more than half of americans.

He didn’t even wait until the end of tonight’s show. Left at a commercial break and Kornaki was there after the commercial.

I’m really trying to pay attention and listen

But by and large, the only faction that hesitates to say they will support whoever is the eventual nominee are Bernie people.

@snood,
Yes. That is where the real problem could lie.

Asked AOC if she thinks — as some have called for — that Warren should drop out and endorse Sanders. “I don’t think that’s up to me. I think that’s a very deeply personal decision,” she said. Said Sanders + his supporters shoud instead be making the push to earn those votes.

This one seldom disappoints.

Don’t remind me.

Well, actually you don’t need to - my feelings toward them for their actions (and inactions) in the 2016 election keep the memory fresh,

And their making the same kind of noises leading up to this November.

Some of them did. There were news stories about their attempts to withdraw their votes for Buttigieg when they found out.

I have no idea how widespread this point of view was though. It could well have just been a handful of people for all I know.

Personally I wouldn't care. I only object to his appalling stance on gun control.

Sorry to inform that your friend is as much of an idiot as any Bernie-or-burster...

It really amazes me how easily petty hatred and fanatism are taking over people's mind.

Bernie Sanders tells it as it is:

Quote:
Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders talks to CNN's Anderson Cooper ahead of Super Tuesday voting and reacts to President Trump constantly saying the Democratic party is trying to take the nomination away from him. ...

COOPER:  President Trump questioned like night the timing of Buttigieg's withdrawal, tweeting in part, "this is the real beginning of the Dems taking Bernie out of play, no nomination again." He also tweeted this afternoon, quote, "they are staging a coup against you." Is he right?

SANDERS:  You know what, I really wish that the president of the United States might kind of spend his time doing his job, maybe just maybe, he might want to worry about the coronavirus, he might want to worry about the stock market, he might worry about the 500,000 people in this country who are homeless or the massive level of income and wealth inequality that exists.

So, President Trump, stay out of the Democratic Primary.  Why don't you do your job for a change as president?  Stop lying.  Stop running a corrupt administration.  Pay attention to the American people, not just your own political aims.
