Do you ever make up phases for situations or to describe something? Please list your especially creative ones so we all appreciate and use these descriptive phrases.
For an example – I use “tramp pills” to describe my birth control pills. I use prairie dogging to describe the act that occurs when in a sea of cubes someone drops something or makes a loud noise and people jump up to peer over their cubes to view the disturbance.
Lump days--days I sit around like a lump. Variations--Lumping and lump time.
I like your prairie dogging. I creates a vivid mental image.
Gosh, I have some really stupid ones....
Communists are always portrayed with red flags, so the color red is associated with communists. So every month when my menstrual cycle is due to arrive, I call it the "communists"
are coming.
When I pick up my son at a friend's house, I often find myself dropping
off several of his buds as well. I call this being clown-carred.

I've head that phrase used to describe something else...but I don't know if you want to know.
I hate it when the communists came to my house.
I spend a lot of time at my work bench.
Oh yeah -- hiding out at my workbench -- cooping.
Hahahaha George
At least they don't come and visit you!
Your half of humankind is more than welcome to them!
Jeeze, it's hotter than Satan's armpit in here....

I wasn't sure if that was common knowledge. Linkat would have a different perspective of cubeville.
