Problems and misunderstandings

Hello!

I have problem with some people, I can't describe it but we won't agree. I am currently in the big city and life is a lot different from living in the country side or anywhere else in America. Right now it's hailing from press and media, and I'm afraid of people from the past. Something we've been told by media to cut with these people. Yet they're welcome or has been gained access to every corner of town. I wouldn't say i'm scared but the situation would make someone assume so.


I would for instance not walk the street with my kids in a stroller when we're in the projects, and when the second wave of narcotics is hitting the city. I wouldn't aswell be jealos or vengefull. I feel sorry for the homeless and women who's been discriminated and raped in the streets by evil men. How do I in a pedagogical way convince media and other people to not act this way?
