"but please give up on blaming 43 for everything that has happened since the beginning of time"
"A case in point is Brent Scowcroft persuading 41 not to intervene when Saddam"
I wish to make it clear that I have no connection with these two numbers except proximity
Steve41oo
I find it difficult to believe that you as such an expert on America, are totally unaware that George H. W. Bush was our 41 st president and George W. Bush is 43rd president.

Well, to be fair, I think the number designations of our presidents might be a little obscure, even to many Americans.
Plus, there are language differences remember .... to "smoke a fag" means an entirely different thing in the US than in England.

It has often been noted as well here on this site that humour is rarely to be found amongst the conservative US members posting on A2K.

Thanks for throwing in a little humour, but those numbers have been "tossed" around plenty just since I've been reading this forum. It would seem to suggest that a lot of participants don't read to learn, they just read enough to "shoot from the hip" attempting make the next point.

Do you allow that I use this as my signature?

I would like to offer you an Aspirin, but since that's produced by the Super Race, I just give some yellow tape.

Well, it's all about knowledge sharing on this site, isn't it? I strive every day to educate the misguided leftists out there. They are, after all, still learning.

Err, if you do, just don't use my name. I'd hate for it to get around that I was trying to be humorous.

Sorry, yes, I tried to.
But it seems I lost as someone, who still is learning, again some of the nuances of your language.

Frankly, it's your unique comma placement that throws me at times. You do seem to have mastered the use of the question mark, though.

Walter
Since it appears that you are being sincere, please don't think me condescending if I suggest what you might have said:
May I have your permission to use this as my signature?
Or:
Would you allow me to use these words as my signature?
You certainly have my permission.

=LIZZY..........Walter, you may have some of your nuances wrong and your spelling could use a "little work",but there is nothing wrong with your sense of humour.
