This news from Anita's son (Friday, February 25th, 2005):

It is with a heavy heart that I have to tell you that my mother
passed away peacefully about 10am this morning Edmonton time.
She was unaware of her surroundings for the past couple of days
and was kept free of pain as was her wish.

True to her request, there will be no funeral or memorial service, but
instead a simple cremation and a short obituary in the local
newspaper

Boy, will I miss her....

Danon, how true. Easing our saddness for the loss of two really good people ~ good news from seattle.

Shoe has returned home and is now posting again at sb! She's still a bit weak physically from the ordeal, but the sparks still there ~ bless her.

Danon- I've been busy with family (who shoveled the last 8" of snow off the driveway, bless them) and snow, snow, snow. I'll try to get some photos to you and a list of my favorite places in southwest France. If you want to splurge on one meal, I have the best place to go at Coly, near my favorite church of Saint Amand de Coly. Marie-josie Hamelin is a wonderful hostess and I would love to get an update on little Batiste who will be about two years old when you go.
