Am I Bisexual?

Good question.

This is the way I see it.

If a hetero is celibate, they are still heterosexual. So, desire or orientation is the deciding factor.

So, to me, if you desire sex with people of both sexes, I guess you could be categorized as bi, whether or not you do the deed.

Interested to hear others opinions.

Child of the Light- How old are you? Many young people experiment with homosexuality, and then go on to lead heterosexual lives.

The point is whether your attraction is a passing phase, or part of your psychology. Besides, why give yourself a label?

IMO, you need to be careful about making moves on your best friend. If he is not interested, you may find yourself minus a friend.



So why are you even considering acting out this fantasy? Think carefully before you do something that you may regret, on many levels. If you do decide that this is what you want to do, I hope that it turns out well for you.

I believe that everyone's somewhere on a spectrum of straigh-gay. I'd say I'm 95% straight and 5% gay (for the sake of argument!).

I think Lash has got it right - you don't have to act on the feelings to be defined by them in some way. I've never even kissed a man and I've kissed many more than 20 women...but I can imagine that I might, in a remarkable circumstance.

Now to the matter in hand - your friend. Only you can know how he would react if you suggested more than the "play" (flirting?) which you have done to date. Don't lose a friend just for the thrill of a one time experience, I'd say...especially if you aren't sure yourself.

Then again, this could be the start of something beautiful...

I am definitely not homosexual, that isn't an issue at all. I love women, but just this guy I would do.

He has been spending all his time with an annoying ass girlfriend lately and I think I want to do this to break that **** up too. So many issues make me want to do this, the humor, the stupid girlfriend, and such. But I am wondering if that makes me bisexual, or just kinda demented.

I think it is a case of you like this guy as a person, care about him as a friend and it has manifested itself in a physical way. Nothing weird. I wouldn't worry.

You can disagree all you want... I think a manwanting to sleep with another man is a pretty clear indication that at the very least he is bi... I don't know how that makes me a bully... but whatever.
