Is there an international policy or regulation on the promotion and use of medical samples?
Is it included in the ethics code of pharmaceutical companies?
What are your nation's laws about it? How do they work? How should they work?

Er - ok, I'm dumb.

What samples are you talking about? Pathology samples? The samples drug reps give out to doctors? Something else?

Oh - good question - I will ask at work.

More the damned boozy dinners and lunches and sponsored this and that and such that are a problem than the drugs themselves, I would have thought - though, since all the companies do it - doubtless raising the price of our medicine (I am talking SOME dinners) it prolly cancels out.
