We missed you. This came together kind of late. Could anything have been done differently to have caught your attention?

You should've mailed RJB a nekkid girl on a tractor.
Nekkid girls on tractors catch the attention of rednecks.

I am disgusted with the poor choices I made.

I loved the format though and congratulations to those who chose FAR wiser than I.

Thanks and congratulations to markr for organizing this and for his gold-medal country-picking skill!

I thoroughly enjoyed the new format, which I think resulted in both a close competition and a wider range of country selections. I also liked having access to real-time standings throughout the last two weeks on the Google doc. I've been going through withdrawal the last couple of mornings without standings to check or evening (Korea time) events to watch.

Looking forward to competing with you all in 29 months for Tokyo 2020!

Hi, everyone!

It's been over three years since our last Fantasy Olympics, but I'm hoping folks are still interested in playing this year. (Less that two weeks until competition begins.) Did we like the budget format from the 2018 Olympics, or do we want to return to the Pool A/B/C/D format from previous years?

I've heard from almost no one yet regarding Fantasy Olympics for this summer. Is anyone else interested? I'd be happy to serve as scorekeeper and could help set things up, but want to make sure that people actually want to play before I start working on it.

@tgordon92,
It could be that almost no one is paying attention to this thread because they don't realize you're talking about a new game. They might assume that this thread is active right now due to a belated discussion of the 2018 games.

Maybe a fresh thread will draw more attention. Or maybe not. I'm just tossing out ideas.

I've started a thread https://able2know.org/topic/559731-1 to see whether there's any interest in Fantasy Olympics for the Tokyo Games.
