I thought I had a chance towards the end (when I put Ka and Keg with double value for K), but it wasn't enough.
I must add that, since the beginning, Soz had a slightly better ranking than me (778 vs. 758), so it was no surprise.

You know what would be fun? A game of Scrabble, but backwards. Yeah, that would be cool.
That would definitely be a mind boggling experience.
Quit messing me up. I have enough trouble playing a regular game. Now yall are suggesting backwards? How about we stand on our heads while playing or maybe sitting on our ponies while a dog barks in the distance. I think I may be going crazy.
And now this is bizarre. I kind of stopped playing for a few days. My rating was something like 70. But I check in this evening and I'm at something like 250. The less I play, the better I get.
I lost to someone in Canada and won against someone is Essex, UK, with a similar rating and I get a lot of points added. I'm going to go to bed in a bit and look forward tomorrow to see how much better I have gotten while I slept. -poorpuppy-

Amazing to watch those 3-minute games. I'll try one sometime -- I nearly always use up too much time at the beginning and have to go super-fast at the end, so I could prolly try to do that for a whole game. I notice that they usually expect to use the extra minute and absorb the 10-pt penalty, so that's a 4-minute game, kinda. Still...

i finally got smart and no-played bot123. somethin' is so up with that player. and another player was asking someone else to look up words. i guess that's one way not to get caught using an anagram program
I got to dizzy heights (850 or something), then had a baaaad run, now am in the middle somewhere (just broke 800 again I think.)
I played two games today and both people were kinda grumpy. One said she had terrible letters and I said something like oh, that's too bad, and she said "sarcasm doesn't suit you." I wasn't being sarcastic!! Same sort of thing happened a little later, I opened with a 7-letter word and the guy I was playing had bad letters at the beginning, he was grumpy, then his letters got better and mine got worse and I said something encouraging as he crept closer and he didn't take it well either.
Hmph.
Well, I'm always kinda peppy - kicky didn't seem that far of a stretch.
