Been there (too much, scolded by girlfriend for doing so), have seen that gus, rjb and ehbeth are often on the site. Have lost a game in Italian on the very last word (s/he put a double h in a triple, and hs are worth 8 points in Italian), won some in English, lost some. Have written "quilting" in a triple bonus word, and felt proud (I tend to over protect my "ing" combinations for moments like that one). Made myself a promise: next time I see sozobe logged in, I'll match her.

Man, I have bad scrabble timing. When I click on, there is often no one there.
I had a total of 9 Es in the last game I played. And, to toot my own horn, I played 'gripy' for 54 points.
Added you as a buddy, Laeknir. Usually my only Scrabble times are morning and night (EST time zone). I hit and run here all day but don't usually have a chunk of time (and I'm not gonna go up against you in a 5 minute game!!!)

The thing with VOID is that you can test words out - it won't accept words that aren't valid - feels like cheating sometimes.

mmm, I put ut instead of up - what was I thinking? About bed, no doubt.
Argh, just tried one of those VOID ones, 15 minutes, wasted way too much time trying to figure out how to make a 7-letter word out of "deigned" with an o and an r available. (I had "deigned" but nowhere to put it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So frustrating.)
Anyway, lost by about 100 points. Grr.

I played a lot yesterday and today, keep trying to find laeknir. Poorpuppy's been a sweet cheering section. Bad day yesterday, good day today -- won my first 11 minute game! (Helped that the very first hand held a 7-letter word -- copters, one of those letters a blank.)
