Where are you exactly if you don't mind me asking, J_B? I just recently moved away from Naperville.

A small village just west of Deerfield along I-294. Not too far from the Walgreen's headquarters.

J_B I think there is still two to three inches of salt on the roads around here. I'm going through more windshield washer fluid than gas. One things for sure Daley will never make the same mistake that Bilandic (sp?) did.

We have big slabs of ice in the gutters under the snow. As the snow melts you can see this ice. I thought someone had placed a slab of granite at the curb to help with the watery slush..... weird.

I think the total is 3-6 inches. By the end of tomorrow. It may snow again all weekend.

I wish I was getting six In- oops, gotta go.

Littlek, just because I had to confirm I was right(and have too much time right now), I confirmed with Boston.com, and it told me 2-4 inches.

But you'll take that too, I assume.

Only in Chicago could a mayor lose an election because of the snow. I remember that blizzard so well. January 1979. That was the last time I actually got into a car with a perfect stranger, desperate for a ride home in the storm.

The snow is snowing
The wind is blowing.

Perhaps my love will keep me warm, but I'd also appreciate a guy that's handy with a shovel.

Lamenting? I love it. I'd love to see the city shut down completely for a few days. That pretty much happened during the Blizzard of '79.

Provide link now, dammit. I don't believe you. Boston.com is still saying 2-4 inches.

I gotta fly out Thurs morning at the crack of Christ.
