This sucks. Getting teased with a pretty nice day today, now it's all going to be ruined.

I hope Boston is spared.

Last night we had enough melting that I could see my snowdrops blooming and daffodils sprouting. A flock of robins arrived for a quick meal on the way north an a woodpecker is making serious drumming noises round about the boundaries of his territory.

However, the snow news for areas of northern Massachusetts and southwest New Hampshire is not as good as for those in Greater Boston.

Snow in excess of a foot is still seen hitting thoses areas overnight and continuing well into Thursday

It looks like I'm going to get the worst of this one.

No motorcycle rides for me this Thursday Smile

I used to live in Plaistow , N.H. do you know where that is?

Hi Paula,

Yeh, I know it well. It's north of Haverhill. I'm in Brookline NH, which is west of Nashua.

I grew up in the Georgetown/Haverhill area, and used to drive through Plaistow frequently.

I live in Bradford now, and used to hang out in Georgetown when I was 14. I met Georgetown people from going to Whittier Vo-Tech.

I also lived in Boxford for a while, nice quiet town.

Well then, we're practically neighbors Smile

Do you know about Cedardale? I spend a lot of time there playing tennis for various teams. It's a long way from Brookline NH, but my girlfriend is a member there, so I still drive down at least once a week (blizzards permitting Wink )
