I understand that people should stop eating romaine lettuce.
How will we know when we can resume eating it?
In spite of Canada's advisory to "consider consuming other types of lettuce, instead of romaine," U.S. government health officials have stopped short of recommending people avoid romaine lettuce or any other food. Consumer Reports, however, say to stay away from it until a widely publicised "all-clear" is given. So there's your answer. Watch the news and you'll know.
@centrox,
I saw a sign in a Wendy's restaurant notifying us that we couldn't have a Caesar's salad for this reason. I told the girl that any salad was a Caeser's salad if you stab it enough times.
All I got back was another of those blank looks.
@roger,
You were expecting blank verse?
@centrox,
Cos that's all you need to know.
