Dr Atkins vindicated?

Thirty years ago 'Dr Atkin's Diet Revolution' promised healthy weight loss by upping your fat intake and cutting carbs! This was not exactly in line with dietary guidelines that promoted cutting fats and oils, but the results of some studies indicate that this may not be the case...

In 1961 I was drinking tablespoonfuls of safflower oil. Atkins didn't write his book until 1972!
