You're going to be terrific, cav.

Do you know what you have to cook or is it more about your presenting skills?

Whatever it is, you're gonna be a great big STAR

Make sure you report back and let us know all about it.

It's my opinion the Cav has the cooking AND the personality skills and the wit to be a major success in this venture.

It's a slam dunk I predict.

Joe wrote :"Wild Salad Greens, Pine Cone Surprise and Beer Battered Rainbow Trout"

mmmmm, beer battered anything, so good.

I hope things go well for you, CF, that you achieve exactly what you want to vis a vis your audition. I won't say "Good Luck", though, because my experience has shown that luck has very little to do with cooking.

Take a few really deep breaths, believe in your skills, and remember to smile. It cuts the tension for everyone.

Can't wait to hear how it goes!

I think it's going to be more of a door-knock dinner type thing, helping the busy and hopeless make do with very little, and find their inner kitchen genie. I'll keep everyone informed.

Cav, this is indeed good news. I last saw my Kitchen Genie some time ago lurking near the sofa, it's sudden disappearance has been a grievous loss, and as everyone knows; the 3-In-1 Kitchen Genie is a must have in any home! With the 3-in-1 Kitchen Genie you can grind peper, grate cheese, and open a bottle of wine all with the same unit.

As I fit the social demographic profile, although I am not very busy, do come and knock on my door to begin your search. Laughing

Well, it's tomorrow folks, I'm getting jittery, and have had a flu for the last week, let's hope it all goes well. Funny thing about Joe's pine cone surprise suggestion...when I was apprenticing with Michael Stadtlander, it happened to be the season when the baby spruce shoots were first starting to appear. We foraged them and made spruce honey, and spruce maple syrup. At the time, it was a successful experiment. Since then, he has refined his method of using the shoots in a variety of ways.

I agree with Angie's post here, and I guess I add to be thinking not so much about performing (though a little), but how to help these folks who need it... how to put them at ease.
