You know, littlek, I've been meaning to ask you. When K-Mart being Big-K a few years back, were they trying to one-up you?

as we slovaks say, the good always comes in little doses.

...i do have to confide though... (looking around, lowering voice)... being as it is a Life at Home thread...

I got home from the show littlek and i went to see together. she went home earlier, i stayed longer, hanging out with the old crew and all.
littlek is passed out on the sofa in the living room. i suggested to her moving to her bed, but got indistinctly growled at. or muttered, at best. should i go nudge her again? what implement should i try to get my suggestion across? a broomstick perhaps? she seems resistant to the cat walking up and down her, so i need a more insistent method. any advice?

Pdawg, I was littlek before kmart was bigk. I think. That far back, things start to get fuzzy.

It is true. I was dead to the world. I was very tired when I got home, but I opened a beer to drink, took a few sips while I resized/cropped/rotated/ pictures from the hike. I nearly fell asleep in the chair and could barely drag my self to the couch. So, I had 2 coronas and about 1/4 of an IPA. It was maybe midnight. I must be getting old.

Another perfect opportunity to shave off a friend's eyebrows while they sleep...wasted.

Oh well, maybe next time.

Good looking AND intelligent!?

What if he had volunteered he knew how to repair small appliances, loved cleaning bathrooms, and always liked to pay his rent a week ahead of time to make sure it was taken care of?

That would have been TERRIBLE!!!

D and I went for burritos and saw that HM3 was at home cooking when we returned (we can see into the apt from the sidewalk). We entered to find that he was cooking in his underwear. Nothing else. Lovely.

Sheesh! How much longer is he staying there? I'm already sick of him, and I'm not even there!

We are looking for next year's house mate right now. We had two open houses, one thursday evening and one this afternoon. We saw maybe 12 people. We liked almost all of them. Hard to whittle down the list. But, D is leaving tomorrow and we need to decide. We have left a message for our preferred future house mate and have a close second runner up if she declines. After that, I (we?) liked 3 or 4 sort of equally. Whew.
