So, the owners of the third floor condo are chapping my ass.
They have the right to be idiots about the front garden, because it's partly under their control in the condo association contract. But, what is with the whole peering into the back yard mess - the back yard has nothing to do with them. I did exactly what the landlady asked ("clean up the garden and stash everything under the deck - to keep it out of sight"). I did more, in fact, I bought mulch for the garden and snipped down the old growth.....
Who is so clueless that when they think a plant looks ill, they pull the whole thing out by it's roots? And, when spring finally is in sight, why cut an evergreen down to the ground? Why in the world do they care what's going on in the back yard, in a spot which they can't see without effort?
These people are nice and wonderful, but they are driving me insane!
Right. So D., the younger of the couple, does this thing: she comes right under our windows, struts back to the backyard where the "heap of mess" (that belongs to the landlady owning our and second floor condo) is located to take yet another look at it - while she knows i see her. She knows littlek takes care of the garden and who knows...maybe she thinks it's her who's at home at the time...i don't know. but i observe her number of staring at the heap and grumbling loudly yet incoherently enough for me to understand.
my adrenalin at this point is just oozing out of my ears, so i make a point out of calming Bootsie the dog down loudly (though she's not even barking, because she knows it's D.), telling her it's just D. looking at the backyard again...to deliver the message that we don't give a rat's ass if she finds the heap unsettling as it does not have one iota to do with her property....grrrrrr.
as littlek pointed out...we passive aggressived each other to death. she with her staring and grumblin, I with my fake dog calming. She didn't knock on our door to talk about it, neither did I open the door and ask her what's bothering her in our yard...
Ack., they're just weird. Both of the upstairs ladies.
My roommate is gay and owns a home theater he set up in the living room (I threw my T.V. out ) and he watches "American Idol" and "the View" full blast in surround sound everyday.

There is no one here who doesn't know I'm the gardner - here's just our condo, their condo (third floor) and the condo of our landlord Second floor). We on the first floor rent. We get rent lowered because I (and now Dasha) do yard work for these first and second floors. The third floor has nothing to do with me, except through my landlord's condo association.
The owners (second and third floors) hired me (without pay) to install plants (which they did pay for) in the garden. Then the third floor people yank the little green babies right out because they don't look pretty - in the first year! Obviously they are used to annuals or some such..... <mutter mutter>

and He/she buys really good chocolate and then doesn't eat it, just lets it sit there to torture me. Then I eat it and have to replace it.
I can't complain though. I could imagine what my list would look like. I live like a caveman.
