Maybe they think if they present enough non evidence as evidence, it will suggest guilt - if there is enough of it.

If the note is so clean, why would the accusers have presented it? Do they play the role of Chicken Little?

It's proof that Roy Moore knew his accusers which is something he denies. It may not be proof of abuse but it's proof that Moore is a liar.
