I must be truly stupid, Stradee. I can't find that "X". I click on "edit" and there's no option for deleting, just editing.

No you're not!

Look at the very top of your posting window on the right side. See where it says "Edit"? Cant's see the window when posting - but look for the box with an x. Click on the X.

Look right next to where the date of the posting is and see

"Quote" - a little pair of scissors then "Edit" - and an arrow pointing up and then the X <right next to the x is a red check mark and then "Quote".

Click on the X

Hmmm, you should have the letter x in the series. Perhaps give Craven a holler, or click on the "report" feature and ask the moderator to delete one of the posts for you and also ask why you can't delete your own posts. Question

Lol - you can delete only if nobody has responded to your post.

Once they have, you can edit - like, click edit, delete the post, and put edit - double post - or something.

Hi, everyone...

I'm back...kind of. Have been kept pretty busy since the first of the year so haven't spent much time on the computer except to click and quickly check my e-mail accounts...sometimes I even get an update from A2K Laughing !

A belated Happy New Year to all of you, and...

A belated Happy Birthday to Merry Andrew and to Husker!

Stradee...
I'm so happy that mz. Bella made it back home again and that she's okay. When I had my Manx, she used to take off for several days every once in a while and it always scared the bejeebers out of me.

Joan and Helen...
Thanks to both of you for posting the information re Anita. I have since sent her an e-mail and will be sending her more as the days go on. Please let us know if you hear anything else.

Beth...
Sorry and congratulations go out to you re your computer situation. Do you need me to send you my e-addy again? Let me know. (Don't forget that the bravenet site contains several, too.)

Hi Matrix, good seeing your post!

Our babies sure do cause worry at times. A neighbor frantic today because her elderly cat wandered from the house. We located him sleeping peacefully on the porch - thankfully. Since the last series of storms subsided, predator animals hunting, and coyotes are the most threatening to neighborhood cats. Thanks for the good thoughts regarding Bella. She stays mostly on the porch after I let the cats outdoors after returning home from work. Then right at dusk, they're inside the house safe and sound.

Glad you stopped by to say 'hi'. Smile

Jimmy Buffett - Margaritaville Lyrics
Nibblin' on sponge cake
Watchin' the sun bake
All of those tourists covered with oil
Strummin' my six-string
On my front porch swing
Smell those shrimp they're beginnin' to boil

Chorus:
Wastin' away again in Margaritaville
Searching for my lost shaker of salt
Some people claim that there's a woman to blame
But I know it's nobody's fault

I don't know the reason
I stayed here all season
Nothin' to show but this brand new tattoo
But it's a real beauty
A Mexican cutie
How it got here I haven't a clue

Chorus:
Wastin' away again in Margaritaville
Searchin' for my lost shaker of salt
Some people claim that there's a woman to blame
Now I think
Hell, it could be my fault

I blew out my flip-flop
Stepped on a pop-top
Cut my heel had to cruise on back home
But there's booze in the blender
And soon it will render
That frozen concoction that helps me hang on

Wastin' away again in Margaritaville
Searching for my lost shaker of salt
Some people claim that there's a woman to blame
But I know it's my own damn fault
Yes and some people claim that there's a woman to blame
And I know it's my own damn fault.
