Whether your delicate sensibilities can handle it or not, there needs to be an acceptable level of rodent feces in municipal drinking water supplies... just like in virtually all packaged grocery items. Sleep well.

Who know how it will lokk at election time.

I am willing to bet that the Sunni Arabs will be involved in the election. They have no alternative if they want any say in the future of Iraq other than war.

Yep.

I recently read a statement (by an Iraqi) to the effect that Bin Laden lost something like 75% of his support in Iraq by making the claim that anyone who votes in the elections is an infidel.

Personally, I think that number should be 100%, but that's merely my opinion Smile
Bingo! If the Sunni Arabs can't come to terms with the FACT that they're no better than other Iraqis and never should have had more say; tough luck. My a$$ is available for kissing by any person in any country who chooses not to have a voice in their own governance. This is a thug-style power play and I can't believe people want to lend legitimacy to the terrorist threat that it is.

Are you saying you titled it as you did only for the attention you thought you might generate?

I titled it so that it would be both accurate and interesting, while still fitting into the limited space provided. I would have prefered the entire Bill O'Reilly question, but that was too long to work as a title.

You're asking me to waste more of my time counting up posts?

I think a valid argument can be made for pulling out right now. I'm not in favor of doing so, but I think a good many patriots are advocates of that course of action. I would not consider it a defeat, certainly not a defeat of our military. But it is also not adviseable until the country has stabilized.

So then that makes me a patriot.

No .... I asked somebody to count them up. Pay attention, Joe.

No, again. Follow along with me now ...

A "patriot" can advocate that the US pull out right now. That does not make them a patriot, nor does it disqualify them from being a patriot. So, Joe, you do not become a patriot by advocating that course of action. And as you have made clear, you desire that the US should lose this war, and that DOES disqualify you from being a patriot.

Approximately 217.8 million Americans were eligible to vote in the 2004 presidential election, of whom only about 117.3 cast ballots. That leaves around 100 million Americans who chose not to have a voice in their own governance. Consequently, if you are making your ass available for the smooches of 100 million of your compatriots, O'BILL, I suggest you keep it open all day.
