My business partner happens to have a great horse who is absolutely Not for Sale. No question, and Never.
But she did put an ad up on her horse's stall, and I thought you might enjoy the "ad".
TRAKEHNER MARE (1988) 17 HANDS, GRAY. Unproven broodmare. Cribs.
Won't tie. Won't go in wash rack. Hard to shoe. Sensitive, willful. Athletically talented with divine gaits. Experienced, extremely patient rider required. Current owner needs to recoup investment. Asking $65,000. Serious enquiries only.
and then her home phone.
M'friend was kidding. They are locked together in dressage training. Her horse probably thinks of her as willful, but without divine gaits.
added 2/15 - oh, and the horse initially cost a mere fraction of that...
To fill in some of the background, bus partnr got the horse when she was six and had never been ridden. They are connected rather shortly for life, and this "ad" is one of the ways busptner has of venting. I don't know what will happen if that horse ever dies, they are so connected. PS, busprtner is gentle with horses.
