Think of the other Prince, the one who later wished to be known by an
unpronounceable symbol.

Your Highness,

Remember this guy?

http://www.metroactive.com/papers/metro/01.29.98/gifs/tafkap-9804.jpg

For a while, he wanted to be known as this unpronouncable symbol.

http://www.extractando.com/entretenimiento/image/PrinceSymbol.jpg

So the press here took to calling him The Artist Formerly Known as Prince, which was then abbreviated TAFKAP.

I like hollandia with seafood, and I like brewery beers. They tend to be more flavorful than bottled beers. There's this great place in town: the bitter end that has good flavors. And also I like north by northwest beers (I think they might be a chain.)

My BIL always serves Okenagen Lager and I've developed a liking for it.

Sorry, panz, I decided it was an American thing and we'd tortured our poor Prince long enough. (Either that, or he's pulling our legs...)

We have a very long-time marionnette character on the Australian national TV broadcaster called 'Mr Squiggle'.

Unkind people, who may hate pretentious, talentless musical types took to calling the 'prince' by that name.

I tried this once, and only once, because I didn't quite get what the cost was and when they told me I went 'Ah, fu*k it - I'll take it!'.

http://www.bottledbeer.co.uk/photos/moyster.jpg

Quote:
Marston's Oyster Stout
ABV 4.5% • Vol 500 ml • bottle • UK • Mid-price • Flavour 6 • Bottle Conditioned

Bottle conditioned. Slightly gassy beer that definitely improves if served at room temperature. Rich malty flavour with a hint of marzipan, though perhaps a little thin for a stout. The short finish leaves a light, warm and smoky aftertaste on the palate. Unfortunately, this is not as nice as we remember it.
Oyster stouts originally had oysters, or oyster shell, in the ingredients (supposedly to make the stout even healthier for you). Today, an 'oyster' stout is an alternative to Champagne as a mollusc accompaniment.

It was brilliant!!

I'm drinking an Anchor Christmas Ale. Not liking it as much this year as I have in past years.

Yeah, that area. I'm not a huge fan of the Anchor beers except for, usually, the xmas ale. This year's tastes less unique from anchor steam.

Good going G!

Anchor is brewed in San Francisco. It was, arguably, the first US micro-brew. The recipe for the Xmas Ale changes every year; I haven't tried this year's yet, but now I must find a bottle. Thanks for the reminder!

Thanks for turning me on to Dogfish 60 min IPA littlek. split a six with my friend, excellent beer! Even my friend (who drinks almost nothing but MGD) liked it.They didn't have Arrogant Bastard ale but they will look into it.
I Also picked up some Java Stout from Bells, not very impressed. It has too much of a burnt taste. This is the exception to the rule as far as Bells is concerned, every other beer I have tried from this brewery has been great.
