I like "whom" Wink

I tend to agree with Aquamarine (although english is not
my native tongue) "With whom are you talking?" sounds
nicer as "Who are you talking to?"

CJ -- We, for whom English is a second or third language, are often prone to be far more proficient in it than native speakers. Smile

I get who and whom mixed up all the time, but I do know that the rule is that you can NOT end a sentence with a preposition! Of course people do it all the time, but that doesn't mean that rule has changed. It's wrong.

But in conversation, especially in the U.S., nobody is going to give a damn if you do it, because we Americans are lazy and stupid!
