And the Boss sayeth:

" Puck is just outside our view watching our foolish attempt at being astute. Ridge was chuckling to himself ...."

Now, is that one step away from saying that this is all a contrived Hollywood movie, or what?

Ridge has quite plainly stated there presently is no cause for panic or over-reaction. I trust he will let us know when those do become appropriate.

Damned good thing, too . . . panic is so exhausting, i am so lazy, and i would rather not panic until it is appropriate . . .

I hope he includes instruction in appropriate panic. I'd hate to overreact and engage in inappropriate panic by mistake.

I just heard this morning that the first ending to "Dr. StangeLove" after Slime Pickens rode the "bomb" down was a cut to the war room where a "pie throwing" fight was ongoing. What a wonderful end to this administration! The Dr. StrangeLove Administration!

Inappropriate panic is just so gauche. I mean, are we a civilized country, or what?

Appropriate Panic Guidelines:

1.) It is poor panic etiquette to take every single grocery item on a shelf. Be sure to leave at least one item.

2.) While barricading one's door and guarding it with a rifle is perfectly acceptable, we ask that you not randomly fire said weapon, as that will likely raise panic to inappropriate levels.

3.) While you may scream, run around in circles, and rend your garments, public copulation is frowned upon, even if you are a virgin.

I wait with baited breath for Ridge to let us know when we should panic and over-react. Would that be a purple alert? Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Mad

Thanks for the tips, Sozobe. I'm gonna write them down and keep them handy if and when the official call to panic is issued. Wouldn't want to be inappropriate!

Virgins, panic-stricken or otherwise, are vastly over-rated in IMO, dyslexia ... probably wise of the Ancients to choose virgins for sacrifice; no point diminishing the ranks of the cooperative fun-lovers, and the practice of virgin sacrifice no doubt lent weight to arguments promoting the wisdom of curing the condition of virginity Twisted Evil

I heard they are about to implement a color code system for panic levels. That inorder to make sure that the appropriate level is being observed.

Suggested color codes for panic levels and attendant appropiate activities:

Puce: Hysterical sobbing, gnashing of teeth and vacant stares.

Teal: Screaming, running in circles and cutting people off in traffic.

Vermilion: Looting, pointless arson and general ennui.

Ebony: Gibbering, watching Barney reruns and humming "Eve of Destruction."
