One of the things that I have noticed is that many A2Kers do not fill in their profiles. The advantage of filling your profile in is that other members can get a better sense of you as an individual. Also it is a way of finding out if you have something in common with other members.
If you have not filled in your profile, why not? You can still preserve your anonymity, while sharing things that are not terribly personal like hobbies, interests or other information that describes you, without being too specific.
If you have filled in your profile, what do you think are the advantages of doing so? If you have not filled in your profile, why not?
Just too lazy Phoenix. Anyway, I change my story every few days.
Ok Ok I have been remiss in completing my profile, so I just did it.
I agree with Phoenix. Unfortunately, many of the members did not provide any information on themselves. Sometimes, I do not even know how to address them: Sir or Madam... I know, for example, that Jespah and JoanneDorel are ladies, and Mr. Walter Hinteler, Merry Andrew and Wilso are gentlemen. But no clue about the others...
I filled it in, but just deleted it a few days ago.
May I ask, what made you deleting it? Did it include some very private and confidential information?
I filled it in although I now can't remember what the heck I wrote. Might change it eventually, might not.
Heeven: What happened to your emu??? I miss it!!!
I filled it in on a rant of sarcasm, it seemed like a good thing...at least theres something there, and I think that it is better than a blank page waiting for a lovely sentiment.
What? Missing? I can see me. Are you telling me you can't see me?
Sorry, Heeven - we can't see you!
Thanks for inspiring me to fill in my profile, Phoenix!
Heeven, you can probably see the pic because it's in your cache. But no, it's not showing up for me, either. I suspect the site you're getting the picture from doesn't allowing hotlinking (neither do geocities, snapfish or webshots).
Heeven, now we see you, but you're about five times bigger than you used to be!
What's going on with this screen?
New Haven - it's because Heeven's avatar is so BIG!
